Purpose

At the Yoder Family Early Childhood Education Center our purpose is to provide a nurturing learning environment where the youngest members of our community can flourish. Grounded in our family-owned values, we are committed to fostering a culture of warmth, compassion, and educational excellence. Our mission extends beyond traditional childcare, aiming to instill a love for learning and a strong foundation for personal and academic growth in each child.

Vision

We are a play based, social-emotional education program revolving around creating a nurturing and inclusive space that fosters the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well-being of every child entrusted to our care. We recognize and celebrate the uniqueness of each child, guiding them on their individual paths of discovery and growth. Grounded in faith, we strive to instill values such as compassion, kindness, and respect, promoting not only academic achievement but also the development of strong moral character.

Our Environment

At our Early Education Center, we are dedicated to offering a space where children can feel welcome to be themselves; included in making their space feel like home; and valued as an important part of our family. We have worked to create a space that will help nurture their growth in a calm and inclusive environment.

Partnership with parents is paramount in our objectives to facilitate an effective and extensive family. We welcome parents to participate in our learning activities as they are able and be a present participant in their child’s learning journey. Our staff will welcome parents to conduct reading time; provide their experiences and expertise in different life skills and situations as they align with lesson plans; utilize available curriculum activities at home to extend their child’s learning; join us for our parent events to network and build additional relationships with children’s peers; and have opportunities to maintain open communication on a consistent basis to bolster their child’s growth.

Each child is an individual and we will work to let each child shine as their strengths allow and support them as additional growth opportunities arise.
